The goal | Acquiring basic concepts of how to represent electrically measured data. Learning about modern acqusition systems, and data analysis systems. Getting knowledge about the use of measurement systems (A/D and D/A converters, sensors, filters) in measuring non-electric quantities through electric measurements.
The outcome | Interpretation and use of scientific notation and engineering units in describing physical quantities. Present data and other information in graphical and tabular form. Use of acquisition and data analysis for engineering systems. Use new technology and resources to design and perform experiments for engineering analysis. Work in teams for experiment design, data acquisition and data analysis. Summarize and present experimental design, implementation, and data in written format.
