The goal | The aim of the course is to present the basics for measuring instrumentation and measurement methods of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
The outcome | After the course students should be introduced in : (1) measuring methods of ionised and non-ionized radiation, (2) obtaing the communication and social competence for the engineering team, (3) obtaining sceels in clear communications and definitions of the problems .
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Measuring methods of natural radionuclids (alpha spectrometry, gamma spectrommetry, airo-gamma spectrometry in detections purposes. Methods of radon concentration measurements. The levels of expositions to ioniyed radiations from environment and the methods for doses estimation evaluation. The development of the decrease of exposition to the natural radiation. Biological efects at lower dose of ionization radiation. RF- radiofrequence radiation. Numerical methods for estimation of the exposition to RF radiation (methods of fileds theory, optical methods, hybride methods). The measuring methods for rf radiation in the environment of basic station of mobile telephony (single measurement, persinal dosimeters, monitoring systems). Practical application of measuring methods (measuring procedure, procedure after measurement, estimation of measuring uncertainty). Biological effects of nonionizing electromagnetic radiation. ;
