The goal | Objective of the course is to acquaint students with the implementation of moderen techniques in water treatment for its many purposes, building on the already acquired knowledge during the bachelor and master study, primarily specific physical, chemical and biological processes, as well as the modern separation techniques. Students will be qualified for individual scientific-research work and become fully acquainted with the modern practice in this sector of economy. | |||
The outcome | Students acquired the broaden theoretical and practical knowledge of water resources management, primarily specific physical, chemical and biological processes, as well as engineer's awareness about obligatory, necessary need for the significant water saving by the implementation of the novel advanced technologies and significant improvement of existing by water reuse and recycling. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course introduces students to advanced techniques of water treatment. During the course students receive theoretical basis with the calculation example particularly familiar with concrete solutions in waterworks and industrial practice. | |||
