The goal | The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the application of modern techniques used in wastewater treatment, building on the already acquired knowledge during the bachelor and master study, primarily specific physical, chemical and biological processes, as well as the modern separation techniques. | |||
The outcome | Students will be trained for independent scientific research, with a full introduction to the domestic industry practice in this area. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course introduces students to advanced techniques of wastewater treatment. During the course, students receive theoretical basis with calculation examples particularly conected to concrete solutions in industrial practice. The focus of the course is on separation techniques, the application of biological processes and procedures for the treatment of sewage sludge. | |||
