The goal | The overall goals of the course are to introduce students to the basic principles of high performance liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry and the application of this method for the analysis of environmental, food and pharmaceutical samples. Through practical work in the laboratory, students should acquire basic skills to work on LC-MS instrument. By completing essay, related to their area of interest, students should learn all aspects of the development of a modern analytical method. | |||
The outcome | Students gain knowledge related to the principle of operation of liquid chromatograph - mass spectrometer and basic skills to work on the instrument; developing creativity and the ability to use acquired knowledge in solving actual analytical problems; through written and oral seminar presentation they should expand the communication skills. | |||
