The goalEnabling students to connect and expand their previously acquired engineering knowledge in the field of unit operations, technology, water and wastewater treatment with characteristic examples of the formation and processing pretreatment level and treatment of industrial wastewater
The outcomeStudents gain knowledge in the field of technology of processing and disposal of industrial waste water with practical examples demonstrated during the visits to industrial plants.
      Contents
Contents of lecturesDuring the course, students gain knowledge about the origin and quality of the waste water in industry. The basic processes used in industrial wastewater treatment plants are analyzed and their composition for the treatment of wastewaters from food, chemical, mechanical and industrial wastewater generated in the units of energy and mining.
Contents of exercisesThe course shall be conducted during many visits to industrial plants and facilities for the treatment of their wastewater with practical training in the place.
