The goal | The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge about the application of engineering knowledge to protect the environment, through the analysis of advanced techniques in the purification of gases, and waste water treatment, security aspects and treatment of sewage sludge. | |||
The outcome | The development of students' abilities in an integrated way to approach the protection of the environment through direct application of the concept of cleaner production, and to implement the most advanced operations, processes and available technologies. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | During the course, students acquire knowledge of modern operations and processes in the field of environment of risk assessment and prevention of hazardous materials impacts on the environment, methods of security procedures and technology to protect plants and facilities for the water treatment and minimize the amount of wastewater and sludge, applying the concept of cleaner production. | |||
