The goal | The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical knowledge about commonly used methods of chemical analysis, to instruct them how to choose the method for the analysis of different samples and to evaluate the reliability and accuracy of the chosen method.
The outcome | Students are expected to learn about the theoretical supposition on which the methods are based with an opportunity to apply these methods in chemical analysis of the real samples. In this course, students acquire knowledge on how to choose the method and perform the appropriate sample preparation, experimental measurements and the interpretation of results. The laboratory classes will help them to master the experimental technique.
