The goal | The aim of this course is introducing and mastering the methods that are used for work measurement in the clothing industry. | |||
The outcome | Students gain knowledge how to determine the time duration of technological processes in the clothing industry. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course includes: definitions of basic terms related to the work study, methods of measuring the time using chronometer, methods of recording using film and video camera, other methods of measuring the time, stabilization of the workplace, determination of the time production using predetermined time systems, possibility of the application of MTM systems in clothing technology, system of the marking frequency and sequence of the basic movements, the assessment of the zeal work, calculation of the time making, analysis of the recorded time, monitoring and analysis of the norm performance, analysis of the work on machines, analysis of the losses of time in the work process, simplification of the work, principles of the rationalization and phases of the conducting of rationalization, diagram of the work, benefits from the simplification of the work. | |||
Contents of exercises | Practical lessons include examples of the calculation related to study of the movement, study and analysis of time and work simplification. Lessons also include visits to the factories in order to introduce students to the application of work study in the clothing industry. | |||
