The goal | The aim of this course is to introduce students with the structure and function of nucleic acids, with differences in the organization of the genetic material in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, replication, transcription, translation, factors that cause mutations and their repair mechanisms, the processes of recombination in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. | |||
The outcome | After completing the course, students will understand how genetic information is transferred from parents to offspring and how this information is change. | |||
