The goal | The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the implementation of up-to-date technologies for water treatment and wastewater treatment, based on already acquired knowledge during basic and master studies, and especially specific physicochemical and biological processes, as well as up-to-date separation techniques. | |||
The outcome | In particular, students will be qualified for independent scientific research activities, with detailed understanding of significant industrial and communal practice in this sector. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course introduces students to advanced water treatment and wastewater treatment technologies. During the course students get theoretical basis with calculus practices and are especially acquaint with concrete solutions in industrial and public utility practice. The focus of the course is on separation techniques, biological processes and waste sludge treatment. | |||
