The goal | The aim of the course is to introduce students to basic processes and technologies in microelectronics, the correlation of structure with process parameters, the fundamentals of kinetics, the mechanisms of the microstructure development during crystal growth and micro-processing.
The outcome | Based on the acquired knowledge and skills students will be able to apply highly specialized knowledge in the design of microelectronic and optoelectronic materials, as well as the design of crystal growth and processing of composite nano-modified electronic and optoelectronic materials.
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course introduces students to basic classes of materials for micro-and optoelectronics, as well as the methods of their processing; interaction of structure-property-processing of materials in electronic technologies; conductors, dielectrics and insulators; piezoelectrics and pyroelectrics; optoelectronic materials; crystallization and growth of single-crystals; control of process parameters; electronic technologies; thin films; MEMS and NEMS structures; composite electronic and optoelectronic materials; processing of composite materials: electro-spinning, spin coating (rotational molding of solution), pressing; the effect of process parameters on the micromechanical properties of electronic and optoelectronic materials.
