The goal | The goal of this course is that students should accept the basic principles of interaction between processing, structure and properties of materials. This basic concept will undergo through the microstructure characterization, phase transformation and structure investigation and physical-mechanical properties of metals, ceramics, polymers and composites.
The outcome | Student are introducing with standard methods of physical-mechanical testing of materials. There is also training on the testing equipment. They are accepting the critical attitude in the the way of the selection of most reliable testing method for material properties.
