The goal | The course should enable students to become familiar with the analytical methods used to analyze water quality and gain the knowledge necessary to independently analyze real samples of different types of water.
The outcome | The course covers basic information on the sources and origins of water pollution, the consequences of the presence of pollutants in water and the possibilities of both preventing emissions and removing pollutants. The student should gain knowledge on how to properly take a representative sample of water, prepare it for analysis, choose a suitable chemical analysis method, perform an analysis, and interpret the results obtained.
