II. CHEMICAL METHODS FOR THE PROCESS CONTROL AND MONITORING. Overview of modern instrumental methods and their applications for process control and monitoring in the chemical industry.
On-line techniques: Continuous flow analysis (CFA), flow injection analysis (FIA) and dynamic process analysis.
On-line instruments, apparatus, analyzers, sensors (pH meters, ion-selective electrodes, oxygen meters, conductivity meters, CNS analyzers, TOC). Review of main characteristics: high accuracy at low concentrations, short response time, alarm (loss of sample, reagent loss, exceeding the scope of compensation, loss of power, the housing temperature)...
