The goal | Introduction to polymeric biomaterials, methods of their synthesis and characterization, and most important applications in medicine, pharmacy and dentistry .
The outcome | Students acquire knowledge in the methods of polymer synthesis, their structure, properties and possibilities of application of polymeric biomaterials in medicine, pharmacy and dentistry, and in the design of various medical devices. Based on these skills they are capable to select optimal polymeric biomaterial and method of material synthesis for the desired application.
