The goal | The aim of the course is to introduce commonly used instrumental methods of chemical analysis, to learn how to choose a method for analyzing different samples, and to evaluate the reliability and accuracy of the method chosen.
The outcome | Students are familiar with the theoretical backgrounds on which the methods are based, as well as with the possibilities of applying these methods in modern chemical analysis. In this course, students gain knowledge how to make a choice of the method, the proper preparation of the sample, the interpretation of the results, and through individual laboratory exercises they also master techniques of instrumentations.
