The goal | To introduce students to contemporary trends in electrochemical technology, improvement of existing and development of new technologies. To inform students about application of fundamental research in the field with emphasis on both environmental and economical requirements. | |||

Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Theoretical knowledge on technological aspects of electrochemical production involving discussion of electrode materials, construction of electrochemical reactors end electrochemical plants. Selected electrochemical technologies: consideration of electrolysis of alkali metal salts, water electrolysis, organic electrochemical synthesis, electrochemical processing of metals. Other electrochemical technologies, such as: electrodialysis, electroosmosis, electrochemical water treatments and novel and electrochemical power sources. | |||
