The goal | The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with the basic principles of the action of the physiologically active compounds. The special accent is on the link between the chemical structure and the action mechanism. The overview of the kinds of receptor and the receptor-medicine interaction is given, as well as the detailed overview of the different pharmacokinetical agents.
The outcome | The students will acquire the necessary expert knowledge for critical analysis and combining of new complex ideas, as well as the capability to develop new ideas. They will analyze, value and align new ideas and be able to make strategic decisions.
