The goal | The main goal of the course is to present basic definitions and claims from the theory of real and complex numbers, from the theory of real functions of real variable, from differential calculus of real functions of real variable, from elements of linear algebra nad analytic geometry. Also, students should to ovladaju applications of theoretical results from differential calculus and linear algebra in solving of of practical technical and technology problems.
The outcome | To prepare students that can apply theoretical knowledge from this course to the other similar courses and to use obtained theorertical knowledge in solving of practical technical and technology problems.
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Real and complex numbers-- real numbers, complex numbers; Real functions of real variable-binar relations, elementary functions, polinomial functions and rational funtions, number sequences, convergence of number series, limit of the functions, continouous functions; Differential calculus of real functions of real variable-derivative of the functions and applications, high order derivatives, applications of derivatives in calculation of limit functions, examination of functions; Integral calculus of real function of real variable-definition and properties of inegrals, integration of some classes of functions, definition, properties and calculation of definite integrals, application of definite integrals. Elements of linear algebra and analytic geometry-determinants, matrices, systems of linear equations, Kramer's theorem; Croneker-Capely theorems; vectors, equations of lines, equations of sphera.
Contents of exercises | In practical part of the course concrete problems and excersies are considered. The main goal is to ilustrate introduced theoretical results from theoretical contents. Theoretical results are used for solving of such problems.
